P-Valley is an upcoming American drama television series, based on the play Pussy Valley by Katori Hall, that is set to premiere on Starz. The series was created by Hall and stars Brandee Evans, Nicco Annan, Shannon Thornton, and J. Alphonse Nicholson.
Project Synopsis:
Set in the infamous Mississippi “shake junt” called the Pink Pony, a southern strip club, the desires of pro-ballers and politicians collide with the dreams of five brave women. For these women, the line between performance and reality becomes blurred, as the drama of their outside lives threaten their onstage personas. On the quest for money, power, and respect, each woman must make a choice.
