Late Fame tells the story of Ed Saxberger a long-forgotten poet whose work is rediscovered by a group of young artists. This leads him to reassess his genius. Among the group is Gloria a talented and mercurial theatre actress who captivates Saxberger. The film explores the illusory effect of praise and the lingering ghostly presence of the past, whether imagined or vividly remembered.
