Rain Catcher

Rain Catcher is a psychological thriller currently in post-production, directed by Michele Fiascaris and starring Dudley O'Shaughnessy in his first leading feature role. The feature expands Fiascaris' Silver Méliès-winning short of the same name, which premiered at Sitges Film Festival. Set against the backdrop of a rainy, nocturnal London, the film follows photographer Miles as he shares morbid portraits anonymously online under the moniker 'Rain Catcher.' When a mysterious woman begins stalking him through photographs, his world fractures as his work is sabotaged and loved ones endangered. The cast includes Jessie Mei Li, Iris Law, Kate Dickie, Youssef Kerkour, and Lorenzo Richelmy. Filippo Polesel produces for Yellow Pill Films alongside Julien Loeffler and James Kermack for Featuristic Films. Vorteks, the genre label of Dubai-based sales agency Cercamon, has picked up worldwide rights for a Cannes market launch.
