Project Summary:
An extremely talented figure skater bound for the Olympics, 20 year old Kat has had to rethink her life after a serious head injury left her without her usual moxie on the ice. Contemplating going to college or becoming a college training coach, Kat struggles with her own jealousy of her younger sister, Serena, who’s getting the Olympic shot Kat won’t, and also their mother, Carol, a former skater who has bi-polar disorder–as does Kat. With many challenges to face in her life, and the possible option of returning to the ice as a pair skater, Kat has to make some big decisions, fast.
