Project Summary:
Samidha Sharma has tried hard to fit in, now preferring to go by Sam. Social pressure and judgement has caused her to resent her Indian heritage, much to the disappointment of her mother, Poorna. When her childhood best friend Tamira asks her for help, Sam rejects her, worried she’ll be labeled an outcast – but in doing so, Sam unleashes a deadly evil. Now haunted by her actions and the entity she freed, Samidha realizes she’ll need to ask for help from those she loves – because evil can’t be defeated alone.
