Eva Green and Danny DeVito are starring in Disney’s live-action remake of its classic animated film, “Dumbo.” Production to start in April 2017.
“Dumbo” is the latest animation classic that Disney is turning into a live-action film, and with Tim Burton directing it should be a little weird, as well as wildly entertaining. It is filming on location in the United Kingdom. Tim Burton Productions and The Walt Disney Studios are teaming with other production companies on this project. Project Synopsis:
The tale of a baby circus elephant who is made fun for his large ears, based on the 1941 iconic film. The original story followed a ridiculed circus elephant, who, with the help of a mouse, works to achieve his full potential. Burton’s film will be a mix of live-action and animation. DeVito would play Medici, the man who runs a smaller circus that gets acquired by the evil big top circus villain Vandemere. Green will take on the role Colette, a French trapeze artist who works for Vandemere.
