20th Century Fox To Start Filming X-Files in August

David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson return to their roles as Mulder and Scully in 20th Century Fox Television's The X-Files. Filming is to begin on August 8, 2017, in Vancouver, British Columbia.

William B. Davis will also reprise his role as The Smoking Man. Creator Chris Carter will also write and direct the series. Other cast and crew are to be announced at a later date. Project Synopsis: Two FBI agents, Fox Mulder (Duchovny) and Dana Scully (Anderson) investigate paranormal experiences. Agent Mulder is a believer in the other-worldly occurrences, while Agent Scully is skeptical and feels that all can be explained scientifically. Cases range from alien abductions to governmental conspiracies, and solving them may put their lives and careers in jeopardy. However, nothing will stop them from finding the truth out there.
