Filming in February: Viggo Mortensen Stars in Thriller Movie Unabomb

Two-time Oscar nominee Viggo Mortensen is staring in IM Global Film manhunt movie Unabomb. Filming will start in February 2018 in Vancouver, Canada.

The Unabomb thriller will be produced by Robert Lorenz with Michele Weisler and IM Global's president of feature film production Greg Shaphiro. Im Global has inked a raft of a deal for Unabomb, selling the Viggo Mortensen manhunt movie to distributors across Europe. IM Global is fully financing and launching the film at the Cannes Film Festival.

Project Synopsis:

The film is based on Jim Freeman, Terry Turchie and Donald Max Noel's book Unabomber. Unabomb centers in one of the largest manhunts of history as FBI agent Jim Freeman, played by Viggo Mortensen, takes on the unsolved case of the Unabomber, who in the course of two decades, terrorized Americans with 16 bombings. Freeman and his team travel the country piecing a profile of the infamous hooded suspect. The closer they get to narrowing down the terrorist's identity, the more deadly and personal the attacks become.
