Filming in March: CBS Drama Pilot 'L.A. Confidential' to be Directed by Michael Dinner

L.A. Confidential, a pilot to be directed by Justified director Michael Dinner starts filming in March in Los Angeles.

L.A. Confidential is based on James Ellroy’s novel of the same name. The book was first adapted into a feature length screenplay in 1997 by writer/director Curtis Hanson.

Project Synopsis:

The series follows three homicide detectives, a female reporter and a Hollywood actress whose paths then intersect as the detectives pursue a sadistic serial killer in 1950s Los Angeles.
