Filming in January: Film Adaption of the Adrew Lloyd Webber musical "Sunset Boulevard"

Tony-winning star Glenn Close, is set to reprise Norma Desmond in the film adaptation of the Andrew Lloyd Weber- Don Black-Christopher Hampton musical Sunset Boulevard. The filming is eyeing to start in January, the location hasn't been announced yet.

Paramount Pictures is on the hunt for a director and have their eyes set on signing TV ace Ryan Murphy. No word yet on the rest of the cast.

Project Synopsis:

Norma Desmond,  is a fallen silent-screen goddess who didn't survive the transition of talking pictures. Joe is a cynical screenplay writer disenchanted by his bad luck on the Hollywood screen. They both team up with hopes to bring her up in front of the cameras. Seduced by her luxurious life-style they begin a strange psychological affair that entraps him in her decaying house in Sunset Boulevard until his love for another woman leads him to try to break free with dramatic consequences.
