01 Distribution is Italy's leading theatrical film distribution company, operating as the distribution directorate of Rai Cinema (itself owned by RAI, Italy's national public broadcaster). Founded in 2001 as a joint venture between Rai Cinema and StudioCanal, it became fully integrated into Rai Cinema in 2011 and has since established itself as the top film distributor in Italy. The company distributes a wide slate of Italian auteur and commercial films as well as major international titles, covering theatrical, home video, and digital release windows across Italy.
