3AD is a Los Angeles-based film and television production company founded in 2013 by actor-producer Daniel Dae Kim, who serves as CEO. The company is committed to developing content that amplifies underrepresented characters and cultures, with an emphasis on diverse storytelling across television, film, and digital media. Best known for executive producing ABC's long-running hit medical drama The Good Doctor (2017–2024) and the 2025 Amazon Prime Video spy thriller Butterfly, 3AD currently operates under a first-look deal with 20th Television (signed October 2024) after prior deals with CBS Studios, ITV America, and Amazon Studios.
