495 Productions is an American unscripted television production company founded in 2006 by SallyAnn Salsano in Burbank, California. The company is best known for creating the pop-culture phenomenon 'Jersey Shore' — the highest-rated show in MTV history — along with dozens of other reality hits for MTV, CMT, VH1, BET, A&E, FOX, Bravo, and more. In March 2014, FremantleMedia (now Fremantle, a subsidiary of RTL Group) acquired a 75% majority stake in the company. 495 Productions has received both Daytime and Primetime Emmy nominations and continues to be one of the most prolific unscripted production companies in the U.S.
