Amour Fou Filmproduktion GmbH (operating as AMOUR FOU Vienna) is an Austrian independent film production company founded in 2001, sister to AMOUR FOU Luxembourg (est. 1995), co-led by producers Bady Minck and Alexander Dumreicher-Ivanceanu. The company specializes in artistically ambitious feature, documentary, and short films with a focus on European auteur cinema, co-producing frequently with Luxembourg, French, and German partners. Its slate has premiered at Cannes, Berlinale, Sundance, Venice, and other top international festivals, with notable titles including Taxidermia, Amour Fou, Styx, Ingeborg Bachmann – Journey into the Desert, and The Blood Countess. In 2023, the company expanded with a third branch, AMOUR FOU Germany, headquartered in Stuttgart.
