Blackfin Production

Blackfin Production is a Beijing-founded, Paris-based independent film production, investment, and distribution company focused on arthouse and independent Chinese cinema. Founded by WANG Zijian in 2013, it has championed emerging Chinese filmmakers whose works have screened at major international festivals including Locarno, Sundance, Busan, and Berlin. Its credits include Bi Gan's Kaili Blues, GENG Jun's Free and Easy, and ZHENG Luxinyuan's The Cloud in Her Room. The company co-founded Rediance, a Beijing-based international sales outfit for Chinese independent films, alongside partner XIE Meng.
