Blueeyes Productions

Blueeyes Productions (registered as Sögn ehf) is the Icelandic film production company founded in 1999 by acclaimed director, producer, writer, and actor Baltasar Kormákur and his then-wife Lilja Pálmadóttir, headquartered in Reykjavík, Iceland. Over roughly 12 years it produced a slate of internationally recognized Icelandic and English-language feature films, earning numerous awards including a Crystal Globe at Karlovy Vary and an Icelandic Oscar submission. In 2013 the company was effectively rebranded and expanded into RVK Studios, which has since served as Kormákur's primary production banner, though the Blueeyes Productions name continues to be used occasionally as a producing credit on select projects.
