Cantilever Media

Cantilever Media is an award-winning independent UK production company that develops, finances, and produces high-quality family entertainment for film and television in both live action and animation, as well as sports and other documentaries. Best known for the 2022 animated theatrical feature The Amazing Maurice — based on Terry Pratchett's novel and starring Hugh Laurie and Emilia Clarke — the company has grown into an integrated studio model with its own UK/Ireland distribution arm, Kazoo Films (launched 2024), a joint venture international sales partnership with Architect Global, and a first-look co-production deal with DNEG-owned ReDefine Originals. The company is a member of PACT and has received funding support from the BFI UK Global Screen Fund and Creative UK's Creative Growth Finance.
