FX Networks

FX Networks, LLC is an American media company and subsidiary of Disney Entertainment Television, the television division of The Walt Disney Company, built around the cable channels FX, FXX, and FX Movie Channel (FXM), plus in-house studio FX Productions. Founded in 1994, FX is widely regarded as prestige basic cable's defining brand, known for bold, fearless storytelling behind critically acclaimed hits including Shōgun, The Bear, American Horror Story, Fargo, and The Shield. Under Chairman John Landgraf — who also oversees National Geographic and Onyx Collective — FX won a record 36 Emmy Awards in 2024 (more than any other network or streamer) and distributes its original programming across linear cable and via an FX content hub on Hulu and Disney+. The company employs 500–1,000 people across at least 12 global locations.
