Genre Arts is the production banner of prolific television writer-producer-director Carlton Cuse (Lost, Jack Ryan, Locke & Key, Bates Motel), founded in 2017 in conjunction with a major multi-year overall deal with ABC Studios (Disney). The company is headquartered on the Disney Studios lot in Burbank and specializes in elevated genre storytelling across fantasy, sci-fi, and horror for network, cable, and streaming platforms. Genre Arts is known for shepherding critically acclaimed series including Jack Ryan (Amazon Prime Video), Locke & Key (Netflix), and Pulse (Netflix), and is currently in development on a Robert Langdon series for Netflix based on Dan Brown's The Secret of Secrets.
