Heroes and Villains Entertainment (HVE) is a Hollywood-based literary management and production company founded in November 2007, specializing in representing writers and directors across film, television, video games, comic books, and new media. The company is known for managing high-profile talent including Dan Erickson (creator of Apple TV+'s Severance), Ransom Riggs (Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children), and Brian Watkins (Outer Range). Since 2008, HVE has maintained a co-imprint publishing partnership with Top Cow Productions to develop original IP in comic book form as source material for film, TV, and game productions. The company has grown through strategic acquisitions, including Freyadog Entertainment (2015) and First Friday Entertainment (2022).
