IM Global (New York)

IM Global, LLC was a prominent American independent film and television production, financing, and international sales company founded in 2007 by Stuart Ford. The company operated one of the world's leading international film, TV, and music production, sales, and distribution platforms, controlling a library of over 300 films that collectively grossed more than $6 billion in worldwide box office. IM Global was known for financing or producing genre titles such as Paranormal Activity, Insidious, Sinister, Hacksaw Ridge, and A Haunted House. In 2016, Tang Media Partners acquired a majority stake; the company was subsequently merged into Global Road Entertainment in 2017, which filed for bankruptcy in 2018, effectively ending IM Global's independent operations.
