Jingletown Films

Jingletown Films is an Oakland, California-based independent production company founded in 2018 by acclaimed director, writer, and producer Cheryl Dunye. The company is dedicated to amplifying the voices of diverse, queer, and BIPOC storytellers whose work has been historically underrepresented in the film industry. Known for developing bold, culturally rooted content spanning features and episodic drama, the company is actively expanding with a Latino division (Jingletown-MX) led by COO Karina Hodoyán and recently attended the 2025 Cannes Market with a slate including the in-development series The Gilda Stories, co-produced with Lilly Wachowski's Anarchists United and Killer Films.
