Lawrence Gordon Productions

Lawrence Gordon Productions is the Los Angeles-based independent production shingle of veteran film producer Lawrence Gordon (born March 25, 1936), one of Hollywood's most prolific producers of action and genre films. The company, operating under the name since the early 1980s and formally reactivated as an independent entity after Gordon's departure from Largo Entertainment in 1994, has produced a wide range of commercially successful films including Predator (1987), Die Hard (1988), Boogie Nights (1997), the Lara Croft: Tomb Raider franchise, Hellboy (2004) and its sequel, and Watchmen (2009). Gordon has remained active into the 2020s as executive producer on Prey (2022), Watchmen: Chapter I & II (2024), and Predator: Badlands (2025). He has also been credited with mentoring major industry figures including Joel Silver, Scott Rudin, Amy Pascal, and James L. Brooks.
