Mansa is a free, ad-supported (AVOD/FAST) streaming platform and global media company co-founded by award-winning filmmakers and actors David Oyelowo and Nate Parker, along with Chiké Okonkwo and tech entrepreneur Zak Tanjeloff, dedicated to curating and distributing Black cultural content for a worldwide audience. Operating as a full-service studio and distribution company (Mansa Studios), the platform offers thousands of hours of on-demand film, television, short-form content, vertical micro-dramas, and 24/7 digital linear FAST channels available on connected TV and mobile devices. Available in the US, UK, Nigeria, Kenya, Uganda, South Africa, and Brazil, Mansa has raised $12 million in seed funding led by MaC Venture Capital and has distribution partnerships with Roku, Amazon Freevee, Vizio, and AMC Theatres.
