Melbar Entertainment Group

Melbar Entertainment Group is a Toronto-based Canadian film and TV production company founded in 1998 by Barry Avrich, and is one of the largest producers of non-scripted content in North America. The company has produced over 60 documentaries and filmed productions, including internationally acclaimed titles such as Made You Look, The Last Mogul, Prosecuting Evil, David Foster: Off the Record, and Oscar Peterson: Black + White, as well as over 20 award-winning stage-to-screen adaptations of Broadway and Shakespeare productions. In addition to documentaries, Melbar produces large-scale live television events including award shows, music festivals, and sports specials, and is actively developing new scripted and unscripted programming.
