Midwinter Films

Midwinter Films is an Australasian production company founded and led by CEO Bridget Callow-Wright, specialising in prestige scripted drama as well as content for kids, family, and younger adult audiences. The company develops and produces screen content for both local and international marketplaces, working in open collaboration with other production companies. Notable credits include the award-winning features The Butterfly Tree (MIFF/TIFF 2017) and H is for Happiness (Best Film, Cinefest Oz; 10 AACTA nominations), as well as the Canneseries Short Form winner Over and Out. A separate UK entity, Midwinter Films Limited (Companies House no. 15361733), was incorporated in December 2023 at a London Haymarket address.
