Resident Dilettante Theatre

Pacific Resident Theatre (PRT) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit theatre ensemble founded in 1985 and located at 703 Venice Boulevard in Venice, California. Founded by actors, it is dedicated to producing classic works, rarely performed plays, and new works by emerging writers, operating both a Mainstage Theater and a democratic Actor's Co-op. With a company of approximately 125 artists producing 12–17 productions per year, PRT has received over 200 theater awards including NAACP Image Awards and Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Awards, and is frequently cited as one of the finest theater companies in Southern California.
