Robot Communications Inc. (株式会社ロボット) is a leading Japanese media content production company founded in 1986 and headquartered in Shibuya, Tokyo. The studio is widely recognized as one of Japan's largest independent production houses, specializing in theatrical films, television commercials, animation, VFX, XR/AR/VR experiential content, and digital media. The company won the Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film for La Maison en Petits Cubes (2008) and is renowned for producing major hits including Alice in Borderland (Netflix), Godzilla: Minus One (2023), and Always: Sunset on Third Street. A subsidiary of IMAGICA GROUP Inc. since 2018, it employs 173 staff as of April 2025.
