SBS International, Inc. is the U.S. subsidiary of SBS Media Group (Seoul Broadcasting System), one of South Korea's premier national broadcasters. Founded in 1992 and headquartered in Los Angeles since 2003, the company serves as SBS Media Group's Americas distribution arm, operating five nationally distributed TV channels in the United States (SBS HD, SBS PLUS, SBS STAR, SBS, and SBS LifeS), reaching over 13 million households via major MVPDs including DIRECTV, Spectrum, and Verizon FiOS. In addition to linear broadcasting, SBS International distributes Spanish-dubbed Korean content across 18 TV stations in 14 Latin American countries, holds U.S. broadcast rights for KLPGA and other high-profile sports events, and actively licenses scripted and unscripted format IPs from SBS's extensive library for adaptation across U.S., Canada, and Latin America.
