Shawn Williamson

Shawn Williamson is an Emmy-nominated Canadian film and television producer, founder and Chairman/President of Brightlight Pictures (est. 2001, Vancouver/Burnaby, BC), and co-founder and Partner of Lighthouse Pictures (est. 2012). Since founding Brightlight, he has produced more than 250 film and television projects, including The Good Doctor (ABC/Sony), Upload (Amazon Prime Video), Firefly Lane (Netflix), Julie and the Phantoms (Netflix), The Interview (Columbia Pictures), and Horns. He is widely regarded as one of Canada's leading independent producers, leveraging British Columbia's production ecosystem to deliver content for major U.S. studios, networks, and streaming platforms.
