Sleight of Hand Productions is an independent film and media production company founded and led by director/producer Steven LaMorte, best known for creating high-concept genre horror-parody films. The company produced the viral cult hit The Mean One (2022), a slasher parody of the Grinch, and followed it with Screamboat (2025), a Steamboat Willie-inspired horror comedy that screened in over 600 theaters nationwide. Beyond feature films, Sleight of Hand Productions has a track record spanning television pilots, virtual reality experiences, music videos, commercials, and new media content.
