Stages St. Louis

STAGES St. Louis is the St. Louis region's foremost professional, 501(c)(3) not-for-profit musical theatre company, co-founded in 1987 by Jack Lane and Michael Hamilton. The organization is dedicated to preserving and advancing musical theatre through Broadway-caliber productions at the 529-seat Ross Family Theatre at the Kirkwood Performing Arts Center, presenting approximately 140 performances annually to nearly 50,000 patrons. In addition to its mainstage season running May through October, STAGES operates the Turley Performing Arts Academy (SPAA) in Chesterfield — the region's only year-round arts school with a comprehensive curriculum run by a professional theatre company. The company employs a full-time staff of approximately 25, supplemented by 150+ seasonal actors and crew, and provides nearly 450 union work weeks annually.
