The Works

The Works Film Group is one of the UK and Ireland's leading independent 'All Rights' film companies, specialising in sales, domestic distribution, and production. Operating through subsidiaries including The Works UK Distribution, The Works International, and The Film Consortium, the group has distributed and sold independent films for over three decades. Notable titles on their slate have included Shane Meadows' This Is England and Sarah Gavron's Brick Lane. The holding company (The Works Film Holdings Limited) remains active per UK Companies House, though the The Works Film Group Limited entity was dissolved in August 2022.
