Utopia Pictures Ltd is a motion picture production and distribution company based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, founded in 1987 by partners Elvira Lount and Laurence Keane. The company's notable produced credits include the dramatic feature Samuel Lount (1985) and the cult sci-fi musical comedy Big Meat Eater (1982), with Samuel Lount receiving five Genie Award (Canadian Academy Award) nominations. The company currently distributes its back catalogue and has multiple commercial theatrical feature films in development in the $1.2–$5 million budget range.
