Wilma Theater and Soho Rep

The Wilma Theater (Philadelphia, PA) is a Tony Award-winning, non-profit theater company founded in 1973, known for bold, avant-garde original productions through its resident HotHouse acting company; it received the 2024 Regional Theatre Tony Award for 45 years of contributions to theater nationally. Soho Rep (New York, NY) is an influential Off-Broadway theater company founded in 1975 in TriBeCa, celebrated for producing ambitious, innovative world premieres by radical contemporary theatermakers, having earned numerous Obie Awards, Drama Desk Awards, and a Pulitzer Prize; in 2024 it left its longtime home at 46 Walker Street and now produces at Playwrights Horizons' Sharp Theater and other venues.
