Wolf Entertainment (formerly Wolf Films) is a privately held American television production company founded by Dick Wolf in 1988, headquartered at Universal City, CA under an exclusive overall deal with Universal Television. The company is one of the most prolific and successful TV production entities in history, responsible for the Law & Order, One Chicago (Chicago Fire, Chicago P.D., Chicago Med), and FBI franchise universes, which together dominate NBC and CBS primetime schedules. As of 2024, Wolf Entertainment has produced over 40 television series totaling more than 2,500 episodes and received 96 Emmy nominations. The company rebranded from Wolf Films to Wolf Entertainment in 2019 to reflect its expanded presence across broadcast, streaming, podcasts, and digital platforms.
