Wychwood Pictures

Wychwood Pictures (operating as Wychwood Media) is an independent UK-based production company founded by BAFTA Award-winning director David Yates and his wife and producing partner Yvonne Walcott Yates, alongside producer Lewis Taylor. The company was founded with the mission to support and champion a new wave of filmmakers, with a focus on voices and stories rarely heard, bridging the gap between independent authorship and blockbuster spectacle. In May 2022, Wychwood Media entered a first-look deal with Sister (the indie studio of Elisabeth Murdoch, Stacey Snider, and Jane Featherstone), under which it develops and produces scripted, unscripted, film, TV, and documentary content. The company's most notable produced credit to date is the Netflix film Pain Hustlers (2023), starring Emily Blunt and Chris Evans.
