Brian Koppelman is an American screenwriter, producer, director, showrunner, and actor best known as the co-creator, showrunner, and executive producer of Showtime's Billions (2016–2023) alongside David Levien and Andrew Ross Sorkin. He co-wrote landmark films including Rounders (1998), Ocean's Thirteen (2007), and directed Solitary Man (2009), and also co-created the Showtime limited series Super Pumped: The Battle for Uber. He is currently showrunning The Roman, a Netflix Las Vegas casino drama executive produced by Martin Scorsese, and recurs as Nicholas 'Computer' Marshall on FX's The Bear. Koppelman also hosts the long-running podcast The Moment, dedicated to conversations about creativity and craft.
