Chris Bongirne is a New York-based producer and founder of Smokestack Films, an independent production and services company he established in 1989. He is best known for executive producing the critically acclaimed Chadwick Boseman feature Marshall (2017) and a slate of Hulu titles including The Binge (2020) and Plan B (2021), as well as The Virtuoso (2021) with Anthony Hopkins. With deep roots in both narrative features and documentary work — including multiple Ken and Ric Burns PBS films — Bongirne brings broad production expertise spanning studio tentpoles, indie features, television series, and international co-productions.
