About

Joe Hartwick Jr. is an American film and television producer and co-founder of OddBall Entertainment alongside director Wes Ball, established in 2014. He rose through the ranks as a first assistant accountant, production accountant, and production supervisor before transitioning into producing, earning credits on the full Maze Runner trilogy (2014–2018) and Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes (2024). Hartwick and Ball have held successive first-look deals at 20th Century Fox, Paramount Pictures, and most recently Sony Pictures, where they are producing the live-action Legend of Zelda adaptation (currently in post-production, releasing April 30, 2027). In February 2025, Hartwick and OddBall Entertainment signed with CAA as their talent agency.
