John Leguizamo is a Colombian-American actor, stand-up comedian, writer, and film producer who has appeared in over 100 films and produced more than 20 films and documentaries. He rose to prominence with roles in Carlito's Way, Super Mario Bros. (both 1993), and To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar (1995), and became a trailblazing voice for Latino representation in Hollywood. He is also a celebrated Broadway playwright and performer, receiving a Special Tony Award in 2018, a Primetime Emmy Award for Freak (1999), and is currently set to appear in Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey (2026) and Mike Flanagan's The Exorcist (2027).
