Patrick Wachsberger is a French-born film producer and veteran studio executive who co-founded Summit Entertainment in 1993 and built it into one of Hollywood's premier independent studios, responsible for global franchises including the Twilight Saga and The Hurt Locker. Following Lionsgate's $412.5 million acquisition of Summit in 2012, he served as Co-Chairman and then Chairman of the Lionsgate Motion Picture Group, overseeing blockbusters including The Hunger Games franchise, La La Land, and John Wick. After leaving Lionsgate in 2018, he produced CODA (2021), which won the Academy Award and PGA Award for Best Picture. In January 2025, he launched 193, a global production and international sales joint venture co-owned with Legendary Entertainment, where he serves as CEO.
