Robert Menzies is an Ottawa-based independent film producer and founder of Zed Filmworks Inc., a feature film production company he established in 2007 specializing in genre films for the international market. He is best known for producing Fatman (2020) starring Mel Gibson, House at the End of the Street (2012) starring Jennifer Lawrence, Clown (2014), and the Netflix original I Am the Pretty Thing That Lives in the House (2016). Over more than four decades in the Canadian film industry, Menzies has built Zed Filmworks into a respected Ottawa-based production banner working with leading international directors, writers, and co-production partners across North America and Europe.
