Simone Gattoni is an Italian film producer and filmmaker born on February 10, 1984, in Broni, Lombardy. He has served as CEO of Rome-based Kavac Film since 2016, the production banner co-founded by auteur Marco Bellocchio, shepherding a slate of internationally acclaimed Italian features and TV series. Named one of Variety's 10 Producers to Watch in 2019, he is best known for producing Bellocchio's The Traitor (Cannes 2019, six David di Donatello wins), the series Exterior Night (Cannes/European Film Awards), and the HBO Max series Portobello (Venice 2025). He also directs short films under his own name and through his earlier company Kinesis Film.
