Timothy P. Minear is an American television writer, director, and showrunner best known for co-creating the long-running procedural franchise 9-1-1 (2018–present), 9-1-1: Lone Star (2020–2025), and 9-1-1: Nashville (2025–present) alongside Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, through his production company ReamWorks. He built his career collaborating with Joss Whedon on Angel and Firefly, and later served as executive producer on American Horror Story and Feud: Bette and Joan, earning four Emmy nominations. Minear is known for sharp, morally complex storytelling and has been a driving creative force behind some of Fox's and ABC's most durable franchises.
