Trudy Sargent is an award-winning filmmaker based in Los Angeles whose career spans sales, distribution, producing, and directing. She began in London releasing New Line Cinema titles through Kinowelt and Crescendo Films before founding Red Pictures Media to develop and produce feature films. Her debut as producer and co-writer, Are You Ready For Love?, won five awards at the Monaco Film Festival and was distributed by Sony Pictures Classics; she has since produced and directed projects for Sony, Lionsgate, BET+, AllBlk, Tubi, and Amazon Prime. She also co-founded That Film Festival, a prestigious international competition with showcases in Berlin, Cannes, Los Angeles, and Marbella.
