Behind Closed Gloves is a character-driven sports drama and psychological thriller set at the intersection of fame, identity, and public perception. The story follows Shay Pace, a rising boxing champion on the verge of becoming undisputed, whose life unravels when her girlfriend, influencer Lacey Moss, accuses her of domestic violence. As the case explodes across social media and the press, Shay loses endorsements, public support, and control over her narrative. What unfolds is not just a legal battle, but a war of perception. With conflicting evidence, media manipulation, and hidden motives, Shay must fight to prove her innocence while navigating identity politics, fame, and betrayal.
