Bolted

Bolted is a psychological thriller marking WNBA legend Angel McCoughtry's feature directorial debut. The film centers on Lady Blue, a disciplined police officer harboring deep-seated guilt, who finds herself sealed inside a mysterious high-tech facility in Los Angeles alongside strangers including Billy, a street-smart teenager. As paranoia escalates and supernatural forces distort their perception, each character confronts hidden connections and buried trauma. UK broadcast journalist Sharon Carpenter leads the cast in her largest dramatic role to date, joined by Destin Tucker in his feature film debut and retired boxer Umar Sadiq. Production launches in Los Angeles this June under McCoughtry Entertainment, the company the two-time Olympic gold medalist founded to amplify underrepresented voices in film and television.
