London present day. Ed introduces us to the world of The Knowledge, where learner cabbies must memorize routes across London to achieve the ultimate status symbol, A London Black Cab. But he, and his long suffering friend Spice struggle to make ends meet as they study. To make some quick cash, Ed robes Spice into another one of his hair-brained schemes.
