After leaving his cheating alcoholic wife and going through a bitter divorce, Mitch Hammond succumbs to his own addictions, and as his life spirals out of control, meets a special woman and her eight year old daughter. After an erotic dream sequence and an encounter with his wise mentor, as well as a surprise lapse in judgment with his next door neighbor one night, decides to take a chance in life and just go for it.
